Hello :)
I know I've been mia for quite a time now...But it's all because of Blogger. Yes. I was so mad at blogger, somehow I could not open my a/c...and when after lots of "hard work" it opened....I was so shocked to see that none of my pictures here were visible :( :(
Yes I wrote to Google's customer service but except an apology email they did nothing about it!
Ok.Let bygones be bygones :D
Coming to the post, as I promised
here, I'm posting pictures shot in Mcleodganj. If you haven't visited the place, pack your bags and head there 'cos you are missing on something very very worthy. Mcleodganj has a very quaint charm, You can sit on the benches (not exactly!) on the sides of roads sip endless cups of coffee over your favourite book without being disturbed by anyone, Have long hours of chat over MOMOS (so yumm!), or just get lost in your own world and wander on the roads without the fear of being judged. Mind you Mcleodganj is not a very silent kind of place, roads are full of people chatting laughing shopping hogging but not for a moment the crowd or noise will get on your nerves, that's the magic of the place crowded yet calm! It's not noisy; it’s full of life I say! :)
Shopping, God! Jewellery they sell there are so antique and so different and so classy! Stalls are loaded with silvers, junks, colours, pearls in all forms and shapes and sizes mostly having a woman vendor are present on both the sides of roads but the sad part is, if you are a tourist you might end up paying a "huge price" for your purchase (yes, they might fool you! :P) Make friends with a local and then go shopping, I advise. :D :D Jholas in stunning colours are also popular there I guess, they were everywhere.Pants.Palazzo, Dhoti and weird-yet-chic in every shape possible was there being sold in hole-in-wall kinda shops.
Mcleodganj is a small place hence there's no chance of you to get lost :p so don't hesitate to wander around on your feet. Hoggers are in for an absolute treat in Mcleodganj. There are Endless options to choose from. Tibetan food is a must try. Local Himachali cuisine is awesome too! I was lil sceptical of eating vegetarian food there but a small Vaishnav(Food is pure veg without garlic and onions)Dhaba near Bhagsunath temple changed that, They served simple traditional food without any frills and trust me not for once I regretted it!
Mcleodganj is a suburb of Dharmashala city, but i always end up mentioning the whole place as Mcleodganj instead of Dharamshala, Also area wise the city is not very huge, so it's not like calling it Mcleodganj would create confusion besides I just love the name Mcleodganj :D :D
I would also like to mention that I had best panipuri plate ever in Mcleodganj considering the place is not very famous for its panipuri!
Ooops...I guess, I've written enough. I can go on and on about mcleodganj. You guys enjoy the pictures and let me know how you liked it. If you been to Mcleodganj/Dharmshala, I’ll be pleased to read your take too!

P.S- Mcleodganj has much more to it than these pictures. It's for you to go and feel the place for yourself! Not all pictures shot there made their way to this post 'cos they went missing god knows where :| I can't find two such beautiful pictures, one of
Naddi and other of St.John's church. Both places were incredible. I'm posting a Google image of St. John's church for you all to just see and have an idea how it looks like and as for Naddi, Google has many pictures of that place but nothing like how I saw it so I decided better not to post any "so so" image. If ever I find my image of this two places I'll surely post it here. promise! :D That's all for now. Will be back with a new post real soon till then take care! Have loads of fun :)
